Quality & Food Safety Manager

Salary: $100,000-$115,000 + 10% bonus

Relocation: Available

Travel: 1-3 times per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (some flexibility needed)

Team Size: 3-5 direct reports


Overview:

A leading food manufacturer is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead quality and compliance programs at its Fort Morgan, CO facility. This role ensures all food safety standards are met while guiding a team and supporting continuous improvement across operations.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Lead daily QA and food safety operations
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards
  
  
• 
  Manage lab operations and product testing
  
  
• 
  Oversee audits, inspections, and quality reporting
  
  
• 
  Address quality issues, manage CAPAs, and respond to complaints
  
  
• 
  Train and develop the QA team
  
  
• 
  Monitor sanitation, pest control, and environmental programs
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of QA experience in food/beverage manufacturing (dairy preferred)
    
    
  • 
    1+ year of management or leadership experience
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, and food safety systems
    
    
  • 
    PCQI, HACCP, or SQF certifications preferred
    
    
  • 
    Strong in SAP and Excel
