Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 12 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Experience: 2 Years License: ARRT Certifications: ARRT, Radiation badges (provided by vendor) Must-Have: Scanning, Problem Solving, Radiology, Process Improvement, Pediatric Experience Job Description: - Perform general CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams. - Complete post-processing in a timely manner. - Conduct CT angiography (CTA) with post-processing. - Perform scans of trauma patients efficiently and effectively. - Work in situations requiring medication handling during distribution or administration, with potential access to secured drug storage areas. - Demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure for patients, self, and support staff. - Maintain high quality and image production in scanning. - Exhibit leadership in coordinating radiology care across various settings. - Demonstrate reliability and effective communication skills. - Utilize problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and decision-making skills. - Provide input to department planning and process improvement. - Participate in departmental and modality meetings. - Assist in orientation and training of new associates and students.
