market. Must be able to travel up to 60%.Position Summary:The
Senior Director of Sales - Supplier Partnerships is responsible for
leading and growing the sales function of Small Parcel Fulfillment
to existing and potential supplier partners. This role will
regularly interact with PFG's Category Management teams across
segments in order to showcase our capabilities as a fulfillment
service provider. The Senior Director of Sales - Supplier
Partnerships position is responsible for developing strategies to
drive revenue growth, manage sales teams and build strong supplier
relationships to ensure the company meets its financial and
operational goals.Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier fulfillment
sales strategy aligned with overall business goals to meet or
exceed revenue and profit margin targets.
- Work closely with the eCommerce Marketplace team to connect
suppliers to omni-channel marketplace growth opportunities.
- Develop analytics and actionable recommendations to
continuously optimize the small parcel fulfillment channel,
identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and
competitive advantages.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers
and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and
issue resolution.
- Upsell and cross-sell logistics solutions to existing clients.
Negotiate contracts that are cost-effective, ensuring the
organization secures the best terms and efficiencies.
- Analyze market trends and supplier omni-channel goals to align
their strategies with the company's long-term objectives,
optimizing the company's investment in small parcel delivery.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and
forecasts to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with PFG category management, operations, customer
service, and other departments to ensure smooth service
delivery.
- Understand operational capacities and incorporate them into
sales opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and
networking opportunities.
- Set clear KPIs and ensure accountability across the teams.
Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing supplier fulfillment sales
team.
- Other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
Management or related field.
- 10+ Years Experience in sales and business development, with
focus on logistics or supply chain services.
- Proven track record in 3PL logistics sales leadership
role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, freight,
warehousing and transportation services.
- Experience implementing innovative supply chain solutions,
managing teams, and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building
skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day
operations.
- Proficiency in sales tools and CRM systems.
- Visionary leader with a strategic mindset.
- Seen as trustworthy and truthful by others, treats people with
dignity and respect.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
