JOB DESCRIPTION

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Facility Technician- Special Operations will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. This opportunity requires ability to drive manual transmission and move heavy equipment onsite (No CDL required). This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience.NEW wage, $26.50 Hourly Pay, 4- 12 hour rotating (days/nights) shifts per week (6a-6p/6p-6a). Must be willing to work nights. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in Kimball, NE.

  RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Operates industrial equipment, included but not limited to forklift
  • Performs general labor throughout the facility to preparing materials for the incineration process
  • Ensures the safety of him or herself as well as those around them
  • Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury
  • Follows all standard operating procedures
  • Other duties as required
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • NEW! Willing to train on forklift operation
    • Ability to work in team environment
    • DOT Training
    • Proficiency in Windows based applications
    • Climb on and off forklifts
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks
    • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
    • Climb up and down vertical ladders
    • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
    • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
    • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
    • Good hand/eye coordination
    • Valid Driver's License required
    • Punctuality and attendance required
    • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
    • Background check, drug screen and physical- required
    • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ROTATING SHIFTS DAYS/NIGHTS- NO EXCEPTION
