Project Controls Analyst: Tools Administrator and Earned Value
Auditor is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-tech
team of people developing innovative products for the Aerospace and
Defense industry. You will be responsible for oversight of the
scheduling tool suite and support the earned value audit team in
gathering and analyzing data for internal/external audits. This is
an entry level position.The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit
delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across
the enterprise by providing actionable information with
recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business
growth.What You'll Do:
- Apply acquired knowledge to solve simple problems. Actively
seek to expand knowledge of scheduling and tools support.
- Project Server administrative maintenance including enterprise
fields, resources, calendars, views.
- Create Project Server change documents for enterprise updates
to the change control board and implementing approved changes.
- Log issues in a formal system to categorize and track issues to
closure from schedulers regarding Project Server and add-in tools.
Maintain a lessons learned database.
- Be the mediator between schedulers and vendors for resolving
issues.
- Support senior auditors in data collection, analysis, and
procedures as related to DCMA Earned Value Compliance Metrics
(DECM).
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
- Participate in audit planning and contribute to audit scope and
objectives.
- Provided as needed support to Earned Value Team.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the
primary work location. Travel and local commute between company
campuses and other possible non-company locations may be
required.Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory,
cleanroom, or production floor. #IJSRequired Education, Experience,
& Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may
substitute for two years of experience. Related technical
experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be
from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an
agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department
of Education.
- Experience using and Excel, along with other MS Office
Products.
- Knowledge of VBA and macro skills.
- Solid knowledge and proven experience in utilizing business
principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting, coordinating group
initiatives in order to bring a project to completion.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.A security
clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible
for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and
eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after
an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable
clearance/access.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with data analytics and ability to interpret data in
order to generate reports and improve efficiencies.
- Degree in Business or Finance.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary
Range: $53680.000 - $91300.000Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
