Manpower Engineering is looking for a Plastic Injection Molding
Engineer to work onsite at our client in Loveland, CO. Work in an

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Optimize and solve quality issues with injection molding
equipment, including driers, thermolators, injection molding
machines, and secondary equipment
- Save injection molding machine processes, temps, pressure,
etc.
- Maintain accurate production data, including labor routings,
BOM's, part costs, cycle times, and standard work playbooks
- Identify and resolve safety risks and uncontrolled hazards
- Use daily management and problem-solving DIVE process to
improve focus factory KPIs - 4E risk score, customer complaints,
first pass yield, scrap, on time delivery, production lines down,
and labor productivity
- Create and update manufacturing work instructions and validate
manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment
- Initiate engineering change orders and documentation changes
(ECO/DCO) in accordance with quality management system
standards
- Lead capital expense projects through all project phases
- Coordinate changes cross-functionally with planning,
purchasing, sourcing, quality, and R&D departments
- Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement
initiatives through VES framework
- Provide input to product design teams to facilitate Lean
Manufacturing production and Design for Manufacturability during
all phases of New Product Introduction QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ideally, BS Engineering but experience is more important than
degree.
- Looking for 3+ years' injection molding experience
- Strong knowledge of Change Management process - redlines, BOM
updates, etc.
- Problem solving ability to be able to resolve quality and
deliverables issues
- Experience with design change processes (ECO/DCO) required
- Proven experience leading technical projects
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Some SolidWorks experience is helpful If this is a role that
