Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Computed Tomographic Scanner Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 12 Thur-Sat 1830-0700 with minimal call Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: ARRT and Fluoroscopy certification required. Radiation badges need to be supplied by the vendor. Must-Have: - Scanning - Problem-solving - Radiology - Process improvement - Pediatric Job Description: - Perform general CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, including fluoroscopy and pediatric exams. - Complete post-processing promptly. - Conduct CTA exams with post-processing. - Perform scans of trauma patients efficiently and timely. - Handle medications during distribution or administration, if required, with access to secured drug storage areas. - Demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff. - Maintain high quality in image production during scanning. - Show leadership in coordinating radiology care across various settings. - Demonstrate reliability and effective communication skills. - Utilize problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and decision-making abilities. - Provide input for department planning and process improvement. - Participate in departmental and modality meetings. - Assist in the orientation and training of new associates and students. Languages: Proficient in English (Read, Write, Speak)
