Job Description:
A company is looking for an Operations Associate III to handle
in-depth research regarding patient balances.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on patient self-pay, insurance, and bad debt
balances
Review and interpret patient statements and obtain supporting
documentation
Assist in resolving patient inquiries within a 24-48 hour
period
Required Qualifications
High School diploma
3 years of relevant experience
Basic knowledge of EOBs, CPT & ICD-9&10 codes, and related
healthcare documentation
Understanding of various insurance payor processes
Working knowledge of EPIC and HIPAA
