Job Description:
We are looking to hire Assembler/Machine Technician's for our
plant to work on various shifts. Candidates will operate small
machines and equipment used in the manufacturing of products and
will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed
expectations for product quality and production rates. Candidates
will work with small medical parts and must possess a basic
knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques. Ideal
candidates are individuals who are used to working with very small
parts or someone who has worked with jewelry or model cars.
Hours:
Second shift hours are from 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Third shift hours are form 10:00pm to 6:30am
*Training for these positions will be first shift from
6:00am-2:30pm for approx: 1-3 weeks*
Requirements:
Will operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of
products after training
Read and follow operating manuals, maintenance instructions and
procedures.
Load component materials into product specific tools.
Follow established documentation for product manufacturing.
Receive customer supplied and/or purchased materials, including
proper labeling, handling and movement of materials and
paperwork.
Document all work performed on inspection reports and customer
travelers/work orders and receiving/shipping documents.
Prepare packages and paperwork for product/materials being
shipped.
Performs in-process inspection of all parts and/or assemblies in
accordance with the requirements stated in the work order or as
otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions.
Performs visual inspection both unaided and using microscopes.
Performs various dimensional inspection using specific dies or
gauges, or dimensional inspection systems and micrometers.
Provides direction within the manufacturing cell to other Machine
Operators assigned to assist them.
Ability to perform basic manufacturing set up tasks.
Performs additional duties as required under the direction of the
Manufacturing Manager, Assistant Manufacturing Manager, and
Manufacturing Supervisor.
Environmental Working Conditions:
Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work
procedures established by the company.
Job tasks may also involve:
Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses,
goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company
policies and safe work procedures.
Attention to detail is a must for these positions.
Working with cutting & machining fluids, solvents, lubricants and
other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive
motion.
Employee will be expected to attend safety training, serve on the
facility safety committee and participate in hazard analysis and
resolution.
