OVERVIEW:
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for
planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that
client needs and expectations are met or exceeded. You will serve
as the primary point of contact managing all aspects of service
delivery from inception to completion. Experience in delivering
projects with emphasis in IT/OT (Operational Technology) Network
and Security.
The Service Delivery Manager will play a critical role in the
organization by serving as the primary point of contact for the
clients, managing the delivery of IT and OT technology solutions,
and ensuring client satisfaction. The Service Delivery Manager
coordinates closely with internal Solutions Architects and
Engineers and client facing stakeholders to assign resources,
prioritize work and accomplish tasks within established budgets and
timelines. The Service Delivery Manager will assist with project
coordination and administrative duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose for this role is to lead consulting teams to achieve
client goals on time and on budget. Key tasks include: Client
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, positive
relationships with clients. Understand client needs, expectations,
and objectives and ensure they are incorporated into project
planning and execution. Act as the liaison between the clients and
internal teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of
goals.
Client Communication: Communicate project status, milestones, and
any potential risks or issues to clients in a clear and timely
manner. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and
professionally. Manage client feedback and ensure it is
incorporated into consulting and managed services adjustments when
necessary.
Service Delivery Oversight: In partnership with the Solutions
Architect, lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of IT
and OT technology projects. Monitor project progress, timelines,
and budgets to ensure successful delivery. Identify and mitigate
internal risks and issues. Coordinate change windows and on-site
visits. Facilitate and support smooth transition between the
professional service engagement to the managed services team.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including
personnel, equipment, and budget, to meet client's goals. Monitor
resource utilization and adjust as needed.
Assist in client and business acquisition: Participate in initial
client conversations, own relationship and draft statements of work
for management review.
Risk Management Planning: Identify potential risks and issues to
the plan that may impact client engagement success and develop
mitigation and contingency strategies. Proactively address any
challenges that arise during project execution to minimize
disruption to clients. Develop contingency plans to address
potential issues and disruptions.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators
(KPIs) related to service delivery and client satisfaction. Provide
regular reports and update to clients and senior management.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive client-specific
documentation, including project plans, progress reports, RAID
logs, project change logs, managed services Quarterly Business
Reviews and executive reports.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process
improvements and efficiencies in service delivery. Implement best
practices to enhance client experiences and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Minimum 5 years of experience IT/OT service delivery
client facing projects.
Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, or a related
field preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience in Information Technology delivery, multi-customer
engagements, and
managed services.
Possess a deep understanding of IT and OT technologies including
networking,
cybersecurity, and industrial automation.
Prior experience working in federally regulated environments
Client-centric mindset with a commitment to client
satisfaction.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills;
written and verbal.
Multi-task under tight deadlines and manage your team of internal
resources to ensure
all contracted terms are fulfilled.
Anticipates issues and suggests corrective actions before problems
occur (political,
scheduling, resourcing, etc.)
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
