Job Description:
A Day in The Life at MKS: As a CNC Programmer 3, you will
partner with Production Leaders and Product Engineers and work
closely with a diverse group of production machinists as you lead
the development, implementation, and optimization of CNC programs
for new and existing products. You will ensure the effective use of
equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum
costs, achieving delivery targets, and releasing new products into
the Broomfield manufacturing facility. In this role, you will
report to the Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager. You Will Make
an Impact By: Creating CNC programs for new and legacy parts.
Collaborating with machinists on program updates to improve setups
and efficiencies. Assist in developing the skills of less
experienced programmers. Providing recommendations on equipment
upgrades based on programming knowledge. Providing programming
estimates to assist shop prioritization and planning. Managing
Mastercam and post processor software updates. Maintaining and
updating the insert/tooling lists for vendor managed inventory
system. Skills You Bring: 6 years of related CNC programming
experience. Strong communication, listening, and collaboration
skills. Prototype machining experience - insert and tool holding
selection. Experience with Mastercam software or equivalent.
Experience troubleshooting, updating, and maintaining machine posts
for Mastercam. Experience using through coolant carbide tooling.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP and quality control software (Oracle,
Agile). Preferred Skills: 5 years machine shop experience preferred
Programming of 5 axis machines preferred Machine Controller
experience preferred: Okuma, Siemens & Heidenheim etc. CNC
Equipment experience: 3-5 axis mills with pallet changer
(Okuma/DMG) 3-4 axis lathes with bar feeders (Okuma/NLX/Hurco) 9
axis mill-turn (Doosan) Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity
machinery Ability to observe documents and details at close range
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will
understand Must be able to exchange accurate information Operates
in a professional manufacturing environment Dedication to safety to
mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical hardware Noise
level in the work environment is usually average. Compensation and
Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $27.64 to $51.39 hourly. This range is
a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this
position, based on a wide range of factors including
qualifications, experience and training, operational and business
needs and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This
position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount
to be determined by MKS [or as applicable]. Benefits: MKS offers a
