Job Summary
Performs clerical administrative tasks and focuses closely on
credit union employees. Processes employee payroll, recruitment,
and benefit administration under general direction of the HR
Manager. Answer phones, emails and IM's, E-File documents, enter
and keep data up to date in vendor portals and HR systems. Process
applicant flow and other related tasks in support of hiring
initiatives. Work closely with the HR Manager coordinating all
employee recognition programs and initiatives.

Salary Range- $23.80-$29.76/HR

Highly organized with excellent time management skills with a
proven ability to meet deadlines in a hybrid position.
Flexibility to travel to a Zing facility on a planned schedule or
last-minute basis.
Ability to handle delicate HR matters with tact, professionalism,
patience, empathy, and discretion.
Critical thinking skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful
environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs and related
software. Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn
and leverage a multitude of programs and portals accessed daily in
the HR department.
Takes the initiative to expand knowledge of changing HR regulations
and requirements.
Proven ability to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and
to work as an unwavering proponent and advocate of the credit
union's & the Department's Brand, Mission and Goals
Duties/Responsibilities
Prepare and input payroll under general direction. Prepare reports
for submission to benefit carriers and the accounting department
for payment and balancing.
Administer benefit plans for the credit union: enrollments,
terminations maintenance, cobra, billing and payroll deduction
updates under the general direction of the HR Manager.
Process employee paperwork, creating and maintaining personnel
files, process changes, prepare communications and update systems
timely and accurately.
Input data to all HR systems and programs; including but not
limited to NMLS, HCM/payroll, Employee Intranet, Compensation,
Benefits portals and governmental sites as directed by
Management.
Perform functions related to new hire and term processing. Process
posting, promote and collect applications, screening, scheduling as
needed, and applicant tracking. Perform New hire intake, and
related tasks and complete all duties related to employee term
processing.
Assistance with Affirmative action maintenance and tracking
program.
Prepare and draft updates to forms, systems and databases managed
under the direction of the HR department.
Prepare tasks related to COBRA and FMLA, SAFE Act and other
regulatory requirements as directed by HR Manager. Maintain a good
working knowledge of the regulations.
Participate in and assist with coordination of employee
appreciation activities.
Performs other related duties as needed or required to ensure
organizational and departmental objectives are met.

Required Skills/ Knowledge:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Accuracy.
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to
adapt to all HR related systems. Ability to converse with and
provide directions to employees from all levels of the credit union
regarding HR guidelines, procedures, payroll, and benefits.
Language Ability
Ability to read and interpret documents such as but not limited to
the employee handbook, benefits guide, safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before
external auditors, members, and employees of all levels of the
organization.
Math Ability
Ability to work with mathematical concepts as applicable to the
position. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages,
ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Daily responsibilities are simple in nature, requiring some
analysis or research to determine the best solution. Role requires
job/industry-specific training and may require practical
application for competence. Works within existing procedures and
structured work assignments.
Organizational Authority
Has little or no noticeable authority to make decisions that could
impact overall organizational goals and/or objectives. The impact
of the job would affect the service or benefit an individual
employee would receive. Does not have budgetary responsibilities
and is not authorized to make decisions that would commit or
jeopardize company assets. Moderate supervision and inspection of
work. Errors require minimal research to detect and resolve.

Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
programs.
- Ability to learn and apply computer skills needed to work within
a diverse range of HR department systems and vendor sites.
Certificates and Licenses
PHR preferred but not required
Education
(1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized
course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of
a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship
program
Experience
One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Physical/Environmental
Essential duties are performed in a general office work environment
and prolonged periods sitting at a desk, and working on a computer,
completing paperwork, or using computers, calculators, copiers, fax
machines and other business office machines and equipment.
Essential duties may also involve occasional kneeling, squatting,
bending, walking, crouching, stooping, and lifting to 20 pounds to
move or stack credit union files and records. The physical demands
