An award winning and patient care centered hospital in Colorado is actively interviewing for a new Labor and Delivery Staff RN.
This hospital has been providing care to the local community for over 100 years. The Maternity Department has always gone above and beyond for their patients. The Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across Colorado.
The Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Maternal Services. This person will feel supported by their Manager, by the tenured charge nurses, and by the Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Aides during every shift. This Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse will have the opportunity to continue growth and development of their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department.
This well developed Maternity Department consists of advanced and well manicured rooms, and an extremely supportive team of seasoned RNs. The Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role during the happiest moment of a parent's life.
The Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse will provide outstanding patient care. This involves working closely with the patient's care team, coaching the patient during delivery, and ensuring that all assessments and care is top of the line. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the patients themselves to assure that they are receiving the care they desire, and are comfortable during the birthing process. The Labor and Delivery Staff Nurse plays a critical role in the education of new mothers and must be able to create individualized care plans, and education tools.
