If you share our values and want to be a part of our team, apply for one of our open positions!*Join Our Team*The purpose of the BHT is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program. The Behavioral Health Tech assists in the admission process, answers client questions and assists client in adjusting to the program routine. The Behavioral Health Tech is the liaison between the client and the staff to report any changes in the clients physical or mental condition. The Behavioral Health Tech is responsible for supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing. We are hiring for full-time schedules, including overnight shifts.*Benefits*We offer competitive benefits such as full health benefits, vision, dental, 401(k) with a match, life insurance as well as tuition reimbursement after 12 months of employment.*Requirements*High school diploma or equivalentMust have two years of continuous sobriety prior to hire, if a recovering alcoholic or drug addict and participating in a self-help programGeneral knowledge of substance use and and mental health disorders*Responsibilities** Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.* Records Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket. Ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe.* Facilitate all orientation groups with clients.* Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol.* Know where clients are at all times.* De-escalates AMA and other client problems.* Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled.* Provides liaison with staff and other tech to ensure that all clients needs are be met.* Provides supervision of meals, including supervision of servers and clean up crew after each meal.* Ensure that garbage is disposed of properly after each meal.* Monitors group room to ensure cleanliness after each activity.* Hands off information necessary for the evening Tech and staff at the end of the day shift. Maintains logbook for the continuity of care. Participates in shift turnover and ensures that the next shift has Tech on duty.* Participate in required staff training (minimum 20 hours).* Participates in all staff meets as scheduled.* Supervise clients completing the Program with emphasis on client safety and well being.* Remind clients of program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions appropriately.* Provide emotional support for clients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.* Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.* Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.* Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.* Participate in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.* Complete UA Screen Collection per protocol* Observe and report safety, maintenance problems.* Interact appropriately with clients, showing them respect while maintaining boundaries.* Maintain professional demeanor at all times.* Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.* Follows all company policies and procedures* Performs other duties assignedPay: $18-$22/hourSchedule: Full-time (3p-11p)(7a-3p)Location: Denver, CO*Apply today!*#INDHPJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Addiction Medicine* PsychiatrySchedule:* Evening shift* Night shift* Overnight shift* Weekends as neededEducation:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:* Behavioral health technician: 1 year (Preferred)* Substance Use Disorder: 1 year (Preferred)* Detox/ Residential: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Preferred)Shift availability:* Overnight Shift (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Denver, CO: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
