The Medical Surgical Med Surg PM Unit Nursing Operations will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Acute Care Medical Surgical and will be supported by Charge Nurses and over 26 skillful staff nurses. Previous Charge Nurse, Medical Acute Care, and Medical Surgical leadership experience will earn a fast interview!
The Medical Surgical Med Surg PM Unit Nursing Operations will coordinate all functions in the unit/department, manage the team in order to provide quality individualized patient care to patients ranging from neonate to geriatric on the age continuum, and support of the Medical Center's Mission, Strategic Plan, and Goals and Objectives. In this role, the Medical Surgical Med Surg PM Unit Nursing Operations will support and maintain the budget that's prepared by unit leadership, by helping to manage labor and inventory control, serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy.
