Position: Legal Director, Global Employment Law Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is seeking an experienced and strategic legal
leader to oversee our global employment law team. This role is
responsible for providing expert legal counsel and exceptional
service to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with
employment laws across multiple regions, and fostering a
collaborative partnership with HR and leadership teams.The ideal
candidate will bring deep expertise in employment law, the ability
to manage and develop a team of employment attorneys, and a
commitment to building strong, practical solutions for complex HR
and employment-related issues.What You'll be Doing:
- Lead and oversee the global employment law team, ensuring
expert legal advice and strategic guidance on employment-related
matters across the organization.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to establish a structured
Employee Relations (ER) support model, including tracking,
investigating, and resolving workplace issues efficiently.
- Standardize and implement processes for handling ER concerns,
focusing on root cause analysis and proactive remediation.
- Guide and oversee investigations into employee relations
issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and
involuntary terminations.
- Advise on ADA accommodation requests and compliance with
applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee responses to governmental agency charges
(EEOC, DOL, etc.), internal investigations, and potential
litigation.
- Provide direct legal counsel on employment law matters,
including wage and hour compliance, discrimination and harassment
prevention, and workplace policies for the U.S., Canada, and, to a
limited extent, Mexico.
- Offer oversight and strategic guidance for employment law
compliance across APAC (e.g., India, China, Japan, Singapore) and
EMEA regions, working closely with regional employment
counsel.
- Ensure compliance with employment-related reporting
requirements, including EEO-1, AAP, OFCCP audits, and other
regulatory filings.
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions on
employment law topics for HR teams, managers, and employees, both
in-person and virtually.
- Manage employment litigation strategy, including case
assessments, discovery, pleadings, negotiations, and
resolution.
- Oversee internal employment law compliance reporting, analyzing
risk trends, investigations, and legal matters to provide
actionable insights to leadership.
- Supervise dispute resolution efforts, including mediation,
arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain oversight of employment law matter management,
litigation tracking, and external counsel engagement.What We Are
Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to the Colorado
Bar.
- Minimum of 10 years of employment law experience, including
representation before administrative agencies.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of attorneys and
legal professionals.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment
skills.
- Expertise in global employment law, particularly within APAC
and EMEA regions, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize
work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to influence and build relationships across all levels of the
organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook).
- Willingness to travel as needed.Work Arrangement:Hybrid:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Dry
Creek/Panorama Office sites; Monday, Friday-work from home.

$254,375.00 Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from
posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work
experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between
