Location: Downtown Denver, Colorado - 3 days/week onsite:
Mon-Wed, 2 days/week remote: Thurs-Fri (parking partially
subsidized - $50 per paycheck/biweekly)Salary range: $112K-$116K,
bonus eligibleThe Technical Project Manager is responsible for
overseeing all aspects of various projects, from planning and
development to implementation and deployment. They must be able to
understand complex technical concepts as you may be expected to
handle requirements gathering, product training, technical system
configurations, and issue remediation as part of the overall
project delivery. The Technical Project Manager will also manage
budgets and resources and ensure that projects are delivered on
time and within budget. In this hybrid role of Technical Project
Manager and Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for
having a collaborative approach to driving software implementation
teams and stakeholders to deliver successful solutions for Message
Broadcast's Utilities customers. This individual keeps management
informed of schedules, priorities, and risks. You will be in a
client-facing role tasked with the successful implementation and
customer onboarding experience across all of Message Broadcast's
Product suite.What you will do:
- Perform project management and technical customer onboarding
duties by working with the project teams to estimate, prioritize,
plan, execute and manage the project deliverables for Message
Broadcast customer implementation and onboarding projects.
- Depending on the project, this resource may be required to
complete both the technical delivery aspects and the project
management functions.
- Drive teams to deliver high quality technology solutions in
support of key projects by working closely with Implementation
Specialists, architects, software developers and quality
assurance.
- Ensure deliverables across teams are high quality, on target
and clearly documented.
- Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks,
issues, and changes tied to the project initiatives. This position
must be aware of any potential project issues, both technical and
non-technical, and work with the team to mitigate these.
- Manage project plans, scope, risks, budgets and status reports,
and customer acceptance of deliverables within the Message
Broadcast project tool.
- Record, review and approve timesheets to ensure timesheet
submission accuracy and tracking.
- Track and achieve team and individual KPIs such as utilization,
project cycle time, project budgets and profitability and other
KPIs as shared with department leaders.
- Manage the change control process by monitoring scope creep and
working with the customer and the sales team on applicable project
change requests.
- Have worked on several projects for the full project life cycle
including production support.
- Ability to independently break down the requirements and
produce a high-level estimate for various project types.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and
non-technical people.
- Ability to lead through influence.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Ability to analyze and understand complex business
problems.
- Strong written and documentation skills used to follow a phased
implementation methodology and approach.
- Monitor and control project costs.
- Develop and maintain technical project documentation.
- Evaluate project success.
- Liaise with stakeholders and ensure effective
communication.
- Identify, manage and mitigate technical
risks.QualificationsWhat you have - Required Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent
relevant work experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical project management and
implementation experience preferably supporting SaaS in or for the
Utilities Industry managing and delivering small to medium software
development projects from inception to completion.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Agile teams as a
Technical Project Manager to deliver technology solutions that meet
customer expectations for timeliness and quality.
- Minimum 3 years' experience using a PSA (Professional Services
Automation) tool and/or project management tools such as Asana,
Smartsheet, Monday.com or other comparable platforms.
- Minimum 3 years of JIRA experience for ticket submissions and
tracking development and/or engineering deliverables across
multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of software development processes and
methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving
skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BONUS

- Certified Scrum Master or PMP certification would be a
plus.
- Hands-on software development background experience with an
understanding of RESTful web services would be a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps would be a plus.
