Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the organization's reputation
Oversee all external communications, ensuring editorial consistency and strategic alignment with the organization's mission
Manage and mentor a high-performing communications team while optimizing internal processes for content development and media engagement



Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or media relations, preferably in a research or nonprofit setting
Strong understanding of the energy, climate, and public health landscape
Proven ability to translate technical research into accessible content for diverse audiences
Experience leading media relations and stakeholder engagement initiatives
Familiarity with digital strategy and emerging communications trends is a plus
