of Operations now or in the future.About the Dean of Operations
Role: The Dean of Operations manages the execution of all
school-based operational systems. The Operations Manager
coordinates with staff, vendors and regional team members to ensure
execution of clear operational systems focused on fulfilling the
needs of students, families, staff and school community
stakeholders. This is a full-time administrative exempt position
reporting to the Assistant Principal of Operations (APO).About

Responsibilities:

- Reflect on professional practices to meet individual
professional development goals.
- Actively participate in professional development and
school-wide initiatives.
- Assist with both student and staff recruitment and
engagement.
- Travel around Denver to other KIPP campuses or events as
needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.Day to Day Operations:
- Ensure that all daily operational systems are effective for
teaching and learning, including facilities, supplies, copiers, and
guest teachers.
- Audit and support key operational systems as directed by the
Assistant Principals of Operations.
- Provide front desk coverage when needed.Project Management:
- Create and drive project management for key operational events
and projects.
- Work with the Assistant Principal of Operations to ensure
deadlines for events and projects are met.
- Monitor and manage progress toward deadlines for key
projects.Student Safety and Compliance:
- Work with the Assistant Principal of Operations to ensure
compliance on all safety systems.
- Serve as a key member of the school Emergency Team.
- Complete medical delegation and CPR/First Aid Training.
- Ensure accurate documentation for health needs and
medications.
- Maintain student safety and compliance with all federal and
state laws.Finance and Purchasing:
- Create and maintain the campus purchasing system in alignment
with KIPP Colorado Fiscal policies.
- Align with Assistant Principal of Operations for purchasing
approvals.
- Ensure weekly supply orders are placed and tracked.
- Complete weekly credit card receipt uploads and approvals.
- Manage inventory system for all supplies.Communication:
- Work with the Assistant Principal of Operations to ensure
campus communication systems are functional.
- Drive family communication through newsletters and
updates.
- Ensure campus calendars are accurate and available.
- Communicate effectively with all KIPP Colorado families,
students, and staff.Enrollment and Attendance:
- Support the goal of 100% enrollment by the first day of
school.
- Plan and execute recruitment events.
- Manage and track attendance data and implement systems to reach
attendance goals.Student Data and Technology:
- Manage Infinite Campus systems for scheduling and
attendance.
- Ensure accurate rosters and schedules in Infinite Campus.
- Support KIPP Colorado Tech team systems for student
devices.Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in active presence and strategic supervision for
student safety.
- Partner with the Assistant Principal of Special Services for
student support.
- Attend designated school functions outside of school
hours.
- Maintain accurate records and student data tracking
systems.
- Develop strong relationships with families through home visits
and communication.About a Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Spanish bilingual (preferred).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in school operations
management (required).
- At least 2 years of K-12 teaching or similar experience
(required).
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solver with strong communication skills.
- Passionate commitment to KIPP Colorado mission and high
standards of excellence.Compensation and Benefits:
