Job Description:
The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to
work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the
creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families,
children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition
advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of
services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those
it serves.
ALTHOUGH THIS POSITION IS REMOTE, YOU MUST RESIDE IN THE DENVER
AREA TO BE CONSIDERED
The Clinical Placement Coordinator works collaboratively within
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) Programs to recruit,
organize and coordinate student rotations and the placement of
other non-clinical student interns at CCH. This position serves as
a liaison between academic partners in the community and
CCH.Coalition Benefits

following your date of hire.Essential Job Functions
- Enhance, promote, organize, coordinate, and evaluate student
rotations and non-clinical student interns at CCH. This will
include, but not be limited to, the organization of Psychiatric
Residents, Primary Care Medical Provider Residents, Dental
Students, Dental Hygienist Students, Dental Assistant Students,
Pharmacy Students, Registered Nursing Students, Medical Assistant
Students, and Behavioral Health Interns, (hereafter referred to as
"trainees").
- Ensure all needed contracts, MOUs, and education affiliation
agreements (e.g., PLAs, CCA, AA and CTAs, etc.) are signed,
executed, organized, easy-to-access, and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the Program Directors to identify a
point-of-contact for each program.
- Ensure rotation content includes education on fundamental
principles of care at CCH, including awareness of unique needs of
people experiencing homelessness, social determinants of health,
education on CCH's integrated care model, patient-centered care,
housing first, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care philosophy
of thought.
- Organize the trainee's schedules and coordinate all aspects of
onboarding with the supervisor and provide support as needed
throughout the trainee's rotation.
- Work directly with Credentialing Services to ensure trainees
have completed the mini-credentialing process and documents are
entered and maintained in the credentialing database.
- Function as the formal facilitator and liaison between academic
and clinical partners. Interact with community partners in a
professional, respectful, and responsive fashion; take seriously
the role of being CCH's voice among educators.
- Participate and attend local community meetings and forums as
needed to enhance community and academic partnerships with respect
to trainees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by
Credentialing.Qualifications Summary
- Consistently superb customer service skills; excellent
interpersonal/assertive communications skills demonstrating a high
degree of emotional intelligence.
- Knowledge of homeless issues and demonstrated sensitivity to
and a desire to work with underserved populations.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations per standards developed by the
Department of Health and Human Services.
- Provide appropriate education that is tailored to both the
individual's learning style, education and or reading level, and is
sensitive to their health beliefs.
- Possess good crisis intervention skills.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience participating in administration of a training
program or hospital clinic setting.
- Preferred experience in community health, hospital, clinic,
and/or academic educational setting.
- Experience with SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and
creating visually appealing handouts required.$26.40 - $26.40 an
